What is a TestMap?

A TestMap is our trademarked name for the program construct that allows a single program (or test script) to describe related test cases in terms of a directed graph of nodes and paths. The TestMap Extensions toolkit provides an execution engine for these programs. TestMaps can be used to organize your test coverage. They also work well to describe Jacobson "use cases". The ability to execute tests from this construct with statistically distributed choices of actions and data can be used to predict an expected value for your product's Mean Time To Fail (MTTF).
