Viewing Test Results

TestMap Extensions facilitates the collection of test results into your database. The standard attributes of each testcase execution are captured including:

	Test bed name
	Application name
	Application version or build number
	Test script name
	Test script parameters
	Test case name
	Test case parameters
	Completion code - holds the TestMap classification
	Exception code
	Error message text
	Date and time
	Elapsed time
	Number of actions
	Host agent name
	Target agent name
	Host test user name
	Target test user name
	Target agent GUI type
	Target agent GUI version
	Target agent IE version
	Target agent Netscape version
	Last action name
	Previous action name
	List of recognized problem identifiers

You can add other attributes as needed.

TmQuery Application

TmQuery is a Java application that is packaged with TestMap Extensions. You may install it on any machine with network access to your test results database. It displays many of the captured attributes of each test case execution. You may check various options and supply values that act to filter what is displayed. The default view summarizes test completions across your entire database.
